Hello, my name is Gemma Yeomans. I am a Masters surface pattern designer (MA) at UWTSD and I specialise in textiles for interiors. 

 

I am passionate about textiles and the tactile process of experimentation. I am very interested in tactility and I love to work in an intuitive way where the process is the driving force behind my work. I think that there is so much value in the production and sampling part of any project because that is where the hand and mind can work together, and where discoveries are made. Magical moments such as the intuitive stroke of the paint brush or the accidental smudge of colour. Things that cannot be forced but are instead are created.
